Replacing the Battery – Wolf Warrior & Wolf King Series
Video Reference: Battery Access Tutorial
Note: This video demonstrates accessing the deck and battery, not charging port replacement. Do not follow it for charging port procedures.
1. Accessing the Battery
Remove the top deck:
Peel back the deck mat slightly to reveal screws.
Remove screws and lift the deck cover.
Locate the battery connections:
Controllers may or may not be present depending on the model.
The battery wires are wrapped in electrical tape and consist of black/red main wires and yellow block connectors.
Carefully unwrap and unplug these connections. Sparking is possible—avoid letting wires touch each other.
Remove the battery:
Disconnect all main battery connections and the charging port.
Remove the old battery and place the new one inside.
Reconnect all wires carefully, reusing electrical tape for safety.
Reinstall the deck and screws.
2. Common Battery Issues & Troubleshooting
A. Voltage Concerns
Normal voltage range:
60V battery: 63–67V fully charged
72V battery: 80–84V fully charged
Fluctuations are normal due to Lithium-ion chemistry.

B. Battery Performance Checks
Customer reports low voltage or poor range:
Check LCD voltage reading (should be above 50V/60V).
If above threshold: verify scooter usage, weight, and terrain.
If below threshold: inspect for deterioration, water damage, and warranty eligibility.
Voltage drops drastically when turning on:
Ask about water exposure.
If none, request a video and consider warranty replacement if battery is faulty.
LCD reading stays at 100%:
Verify P1 setting matches battery specs (60V or 72V).
If unchanged, consider an LCD replacement.
Scooter shuts down before battery is depleted:
Likely LCD or controller issue; check those first.
If ruled out, test battery with a multimeter.
Battery does not charge after replacing charging port:
Verify multimeter readings of charger and battery.
Try replacing charger first, then battery if necessary.
3. Installing Wolf King GT New Fuses
Added during late 2022 manufacturing battery issue.
Steps:
Install first fuse:
Slide shrink wrap onto red wire, attach fuse.
Be careful of sparks.
Seal with heat:
Use blow torch, lighter, or heat gun.
Avoid concentrating heat in one spot.
Organize wires:
Zip tie battery and motor wires to prevent tangling.
Compress wires in controller box:
Ensure no loose or pinched wires.
Close controller box and secure screws:
Verify deck alignment and screws.
Test scooter:
Turn on and check operation.
