Tools You’ll Need:
Scissors
Allen wrench
Pin extractor
Zip ties
Step 1: Prepare the Scooter
Unplug the LCD, brake sensor, and Eco/Turbo (single motor) button.
Cut any zip ties securing the black cloth covering the wiring.
Step 2: Access the Wiring
Remove the screws from the top deck cover and lift the deck.
Take out the battery and move it aside to expose the main wiring.
Step 3: Remove the Old Connector
Disconnect the main connector (4 wires: one 6-pin and three 2-pin connectors).
Use a pin extractor to carefully remove the pins from the connector.
Pull the old main connector out from the top of the stem.
Step 4: Install the New Connector
Feed the new main connector from the top of the stem down into the deck.
Insert the pins into their correct positions and reconnect the male and female connectors.
Step 5: Reassemble the Scooter
Place the battery and wires back into the deck.
Screw the top deck cover back in place.
Use new zip ties to secure the black cloth covering.
Reconnect the LCD, brake sensor, and Eco/Turbo button.
