Patch Note – July 27, 2025  Affected units: Inmotion RS yellow, Inmotion RS MidnightInmotion has released a new update for the Inmotion RS. Starting now, all units will be shipped with a default speed limit of 15 mph.To unlock full speed, Inmotion must remotely remove the speed limit while the customer is online and connected to the Inmotion app.

Instructions for Unlocking Speed

Standard Method (iPhone Users)

  1. Ask the customer to take a screenshot of their vehicle information showing the serial number and send it to us.

  2. Have the customer open the Inmotion app and navigate to Remote Diagnosis (refer to the provided screenshot).

  1. Once the customer has clicked “Remote Diagnosis”, send Inmotion the screenshot of the serial number and notify them that the customer is online.

  2. Instruct the customer to stay online in the app until the process is complete, as this step requires a live connection.

For Android users (APK method)

Inmotion has released an APK for Android users, allowing them to customize their scooter settings directly from their device.

Customer will see Escooter Pat, download that. Turn off auto-blocker (This will be displayed)IMPORTANT: Need to unbind the scooter from the Inmotion app if it is connected. If it is connected to inmotion app, then the app Escooter Pat will not be able to find the RS

  1. Have the customer follow the steps shown in the screenshot below to complete the installation.
